Day 21 Saskatoon – Maidenstone July 10th

This turned out to be a very long, very hot, and exhausting day.

Last night I found a wonderful place with some students.  Interesting that the woman’s name is Julia  Colleen.  She studied political science, which she partly did in Scandinavia, in order to compare their system with the Canadian.  We discussed many topics of concern, violence against women, and what to do about it.  We spoke of power and control issues but also about men’s trauma.   By the time we went to bed it was past midnight and I had to get up at 5 am for a Global morning show.

The ride crossed the Saskatchewan River for most of the day, and I crossed it 3 times in fairly deep valleys.   It was beautiful with some nice vistas across the valleys.

I am so tired. So it’s a short summary tonight.

The picture is of me crossing the Saskatchewan River – looking pretty fresh at the beginning of the day!

That is North Battleford in the distance, and where I am headed.
