Camping at Munising was good – the storm didn’t come, so no chance to test the tent so far on the trip! Good news is that the phone and email are now working – thanks Cindy for figuring that out! It’s good to be in contact again after a day without email.
Beautiful cycling weather through the forests of Michigan and along the south shore of Lake Superior. Stopped in Marquette, a beautiful city that Colleen and I visited on our drive out west several years ago. It was once a thriving iron ore shipping centre, and a part of the old wharf is still standing.
The plan is to ride further on to Three Lakes and be in Duluth on Thursday.
Here are a few more pictures from Marquette.
Looking good Joachim I am enjoying your pics
We are following your progress every day and wishing for safe travels and a favorable wind direction.

Thanks Phyllis
The winds have their own minds and they pushed me along at times as they also blew in my face. So is biking!
I am keeping an eye on these big transport trucks.
Try to keep my mind focused on change the cycle with all its challenges and excitements.
All the best
Joachim
