This was a long day with with some changes. First more gentle uphills, then down and up. It become very hot (36 C) just as I came into Wakefield a huge thunderstorm started and I spent and hour in a restaurant with a salad and a coffee. Then on to Ironwood, then long downhills to Ashland.
Earlier I met a couple from US. They bike 5000 miles to Pennsylvanian. I gave them our address and got their address as well. Now I am in a cheap motel. Hard to believe I already biked 1/5 of the tour.

The tour is very interesting as i get to know more people and hear more stories. The media also have become more interested.
